Following the conclusion of the draws on Friday, all is set for the 32nd edition of the Africa Cup of Nations holding in Egypt in June.

All 24 teams have been grouped and now know their opponents for this summer’s tournament, with training camps expected to open in the coming weeks.

Egypt will kick-off the tournament on the 21st of June when they take on Zimbabwe in Cairo; the only game scheduled for that day.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria will open its campaign the following day when they tackle Burundi in the opening match of group B in Alexandria.

Ivory Coast and South Africa would face-off on the 24th in what is unarguably the biggest match of the first round of fixtures.

The AFCON take place from June 21, 2019, to July 19, 2019, following the decision made by the CAF Executive Committee in June 2017 to move the Africa Cup of Nations from the January/February period to June/July for the first time.
